The Tastiest Chocolate Chip Cookies

 yields 12 cookies

1 egg

1/2 cup of white sugar

1/2 cup of dark brown sugar

1 1/2 cups of white flour

1/4  of a teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 of a teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1/2 stick of butter/ 1/2 stick of margarine

2cups of fine semi sweet chocolate chips

Cream the butter sugar together using the paddle on the stand up mixer for 2-3 minutes.

Add the vanilla, egg, baking powder & soda as the mixer slowly continues. Now, slowly add the flour and let the dough form.  

Add the chocolate chips and hand mix until blended.

Drop 2 tablespoons of cookie onto a baking sheet with parchment.
