Slow Cooker For Work-night Meals

I make three slow cooker stews. It all started when my niece lived with us after she graduated from college. I had three go to stews. One was Morrocan style Beef stew, Morrocan style Lentil Stew, Turkey chili.
They have the spices I was not raised on: Cummin, Curry, Tumeric, allspice, 
I made a rotation going with Tuesday was a Slow Cooker meal. I put it in early in the morning and when I walked in at night and the house smelled great it was the only welcome a tired worker needs. Dinner is done.

I make two chickens on Sunday. So, Monday night dinner was always roasted chicken of course. Wednesday was spagettti night ala the Prince Spaghetti commercial from my childhood. In those days you would play outside till it was time for dinner. In the commercial the kids went right home on Wednesday because everyone loves spaghetti. Wednesday protein was spaghetti and meatballs or turkey sausage. I bought the frozen variety and added a frozen vegetable like broccoli or peas for a balanced easy dinner. Thursday was pizza and Friday was take out Chinese or on your own. You can eat through many a busy week and feed your family too.
