Asian Marinade & Greek Marinade

When I was a teacher; every year the NYS tests every student's abilities in the content area subjects reading, math, science and social studies. Every year teams of teachers would be sent to safe locations and grade the tests. In between opening new boxes we shared recipes. I learned how to make an Asian marinade that was the basis for many different recipes.

I learned about the Asian combination flavor of; soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and a sweetener like honey. If you have kiwi, it is good as a tenderizer.

Also, the greek marinade that can be used for anything. It is a combination of olive oil, garlic and oregano. If you add red wine vinegar you can make it into a salad dressing. Marinate chicken for a few hours and then grill; it becomes an exotic treat.
