A Burger Dinner

A burger dinner says casual elegance. I think nothing says USA dinner than a burger. We are all over the fast food experience and want cleaner eating, but everyone loves a burger. Hello Fresh gives me recipes, but I choose what I want. I usually pick a burger and have learned how to make a great one.
Ingedients:
12 oz Baby Potatoes
1 red Onion
10 oz Ground Beef ( Juilia Child says 85% meat0
2 cloves of garlic
Potato Buns (Brioche buns are good too)
2 tbs Mayonnaise
1 tbs Fry Seasoning (garlic, onion, paprika)

1. Pre heat oven to 425 degrees and cut potatoes into wedges. Toss potatoes on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, add the Fry seasoning and salt and pepper. Cook for 25 minutes.
2. Make onion Jam by heating a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced onion and sauté for 10 minutes. Add balsamic vinegar, sugar, &; tomatoes or any jam you have. Set aside and wipe pan before you drizzle with oil and add patties. Cook 3-5 minutes per side.
3. Toast the buns and assemple the burgers with a pickled shallot sauce from vinegar and minced shallots mixed with ketchup,mustard and garlic powder.
4. Add tomato -onion jam and serve with the roasted potaoes
