Summer Family Dinner Menu

In the summer I like to socialize because except for holidays I don't see people during the year. I have a niece who moved to NY from CA and she is all alone. She has a great job and good friends but no family but us. So, I like to invite her from the city to our LI beach home. No, we are not near the Hamptons or FireIsland only Long Beach, but its still nicer than Brooklyn on a summer weekend.

Summer family menu:

Turkey basil sliders on Hawaiian mini rolls
 Goat cheese and crackers

chickpea salad- chickpeas, edamame beans , oil, salt, pepper, cumin
cole slaw with cabbage, brussel sprouts and kale

Baked salmon with curry spices
rib eye steak on the BBQ

Rainbow pastries

wine, gin and tonic
iced green tea
